I wouldn't put it on quite that level. Brown voluntarily got into the car with a drunk driver.
If he killed an innocent person, I would agree with the analogy. And I still think he should be held accoumtable. But Brown is partly at fault too.

Brown got into the car with him.. Both should have known better if you ask me.
