Homer looked a little like the Jersey Shore to me. I like Seward. I want to try the Mount Marathon race some day. Been to Valdez, too. It was nice, what I could see of it. Clouds were down nearly to ground level when I was there.

Screw that... The 4th is awesome in Seward though. Have had some great times in that town.

Sounds like Juneau more than half the year. About 2/3rds of our days are overcast or mostly cloudy.
Valdez and Whittier got bombed with snow last winter. I flew over Valdez and many of the buildings were buried. Whittier stopped counting snowfall at 550"
