I don't disagree. I see him as extraordinarily common.

Bobby is the epitome of the dumb, clueless ex-jock who just can't exit stage left quietly or gracefully. The attention he got during his career is like a drug, and he doesn't get how people are now laughing at him not because of his antics...but because he's a drunken, washed-up old has-been making an arse of himself.
