I think one of the advantages for LSU is that this Alabama team is entirely too confident. I think part of LSU's struggles this year was that last season just came too easy (the first 13 games anyway). All of those teams that took a butt kicking from the 2011 team have come back in 2012 looking for payback. Auburn came close, and Florida got us.
Every year in college football a team that looks unbeatable takes an unexpected fall. Sometimes it's a program new to all of the national attention (2011 Ok St), or it's an established team that is annointed the "greatest of all time" (2005 USC). I realize that Nick Saban has been chastizing the Tuscaloosa media for creating too much confidence in his team, but those kids can't help but hear all of the delusion from their fan base. Those guys are ready for a big plate of humble pie.
Early in the year, LSU gave 100% focus on the Washington game and came out and totally dominated a decent opponent. I truly believe that LSU players got caught up looking ahead after that point, and have had this Alabama game in the back of their minds for a really long time now. Everything may be lining up just perfectly for a legendary night in Tiger Stadium tomorrow night.

I have to admit that when I read your posts on the Rant, I had formed an opinion of "this is a pretty cool Bama fan" that is always glass half full for LSU and their fans...UNTIL I read your posts on the Alabama rant. You my friend are one two faced SOB.

Bama Scoop--- I gotta Teabag for you, RIGHT HERE. Bammers of your faux "classy" ilk make SouCal and ND fans acceptable.
