Our defense bats down a ton of balls to. It's not that big a deal.
When you have 6ft 4in tall d-lineman jumping and putting their hands up, it is tough to throw over them unless you are going deep.

All good Ds do that cause they are taught that if they can't get to the QB, get their hands up.
When our O line maintains engagement with their guy, it's not much a problem.
Like you said, it's not a big deal. imo
