I'm posting facts. I'm not letting ignorance blind me. When using passing and rushing TDs totals miles has coached 4 out of te top 5 offenses ever. This is a fact.
Also what have I posted that is incorrect. Enlighten me son

stop using the greatest defense in CFb history as a way to prove our offense sucked
So field position is irrelevant to football? Brad Wing putting teams inside the 10 and the D keeping them with their backs in their own end zone is useless? I've heard it's easier to score from 50 yards out than 90 yards out.
And if not, then we gotta give Lee some credit for being decent!@

It's funny that you think I'm trying to be funny.im posting facts about Miles' tenure.
When miles wins his next two games he will have the highest winning % of ALL TIME IN THE SEC ( with a minimum of 100 games coached). THIS IS A FACT. Les miles has coached 4 of the top 5 offenses in LSU's HISTORY. THIS IS A FACT.
2011 offense was the 2nd best offense in LSU's history. THIS IS A FACT.
Now I'm sure you'll post some ignorant OPINION about our 2012 team, which has lost 8 starters since the spring game( 6 due to injury) and you'll let your hate for miles and overall negative attitude blind you to the fact that before Faulk( the mammoth Olineman we've ran behind for two years)went down, our offense was the #1 offense in the SEC. THIS IS ALSO A FACT.
Maybe you just need to learn the difference between a fact and an opinion. A fact is a statement that can't be disputed: Miles is the winningest coach in LSU history.
An opinion is a statement that has someone's thoughts and personal bias in it: Miles offenses have always sucked.
You see one is Fact an can't be disputed and the other is something , even the dumbest and most ignorant of poster can type out.

What does Bama's 2011 defense shutting out LSU 's 2011 offense in the second game of the season , have to do with field position? Outside of Wing's first punt, we lost the field position battle all game.

I care about performance more than winning the game. If the team performs like theyre capable of, winning will happen if it's supposed to.
Posted on 10/10/12 at 5:04 pm to Mr Hugo
If my team loses but they performed their best then I can accept losing. This shite sandwich we've watched on offense since last year isnt cutting it.

I guess I dont hate this mindset... If your team is playing up to their ability, it gives you a sense that you have something to look forward to, instead of just waiting for it all to fall apart

Stupid fricking thread.
Par for the course for you.

We are 1-2 in our last 3 games vs. SEC opponents with only one touchdown.
Keep the sunshine pumping.
Using that thought process, weak as it might be, we are 16-3 in our last 19 SEC opponents.
Works for me.

After the first Bama game last year there were problems in the offense that were visible. They were exposed in that game and after it as well. Everybody was drinking the kool-aid and nobody wanted to talk about it. Les has had enough good fortune to last 1000 lifetimes so I figured he would somehow skirt by. Those problems showed up in the National Title Game along with bama's game adjustment to the option. Les might get lucky for a few games running this offense but it will catch up with him eventually.

Why are the two mutually exclusive, isn't it possible to have both?
It's inexcusable to have a supposedly elite head coach, with an offensive background, having this bad of an offense over an extended period of time.
Last year was a lot of smoke and mirrors.
I said then that we wouldn't be able to count on all those special teams and defensive TD's

Right, we ran past one of the toughest schedules LSU ever faced in 1 season by using "smoke and mirrors".
Have to wonder bout "LSU fans" who feel the need to crap on one of the best seasons in LSU history in order to push personal agendas.

You completely discount all the points that the defense directly or indirectly scored last year.
Special teams saved us several times.
I think you're ignoring these obvious facts due to your personal agenda.
I'm sure you are a huge Leslie Miles supporter based on your comments.

13-1, 9-0, BCSCG appearance and #2 NR while playing one of the toughest schedules ever...those are pretty obvious facts to anyone not blinded by some BS agenda.

You bet! I respect the man and his efforts in helping LSU to the most successful period in LSU history.
You got a problem with that?

I guess that doesn't fit your agenda of"Les Miles is a great coach!!!"
Miles is a great recruiter and has done well to not interfere with the defense and that's about it,IMHO.
Some people seem incapable of separating being an LSU fan and a Les Miles fan.
LSU football was here before Les and will be here long after

I would call it defense and special teams. Short field works wonders for an offense.

Writing has been on the wall about the Miles' offense

Your reading comprehension is shite.
I'll say it again. In 2011, USING ONLY PASSING AND RUSHING TDS AS A RANKING , IT WAS LSU's 2nd Best offense of all times. THIS DOESN'T USE DEFENSE OR SPECIAL TEAMS TDS. MILES HAS COACHED 4/5 of LSU's best OFFENSES. EVER. these are fricking facts. Your biased observations are shite.

Exactly. Last year was exactly the opposite of smoke and mirrors. We ran it down teams throats.

How often was the opponents defense on the field for extended periods of time, due to our defense forcing 3 and outs?
You can't separate the impact that our defense had on the offense, period.
I understand you heart Leslie, that's fine, but don't pretend that your "facts" prove that he is an elite offensive coach.
Name any other elite head coach who's speciality is the weakness of their team.
