What would your attack be to start the game? Playaction deep pass to back the defense up

more shotgun formation? Yes and/or Pistol

what different formations? Pistol or a variation of such. Personally I would line up in the pistol with Copeland next to Mett and Ware behind him. This would add an extra blocker on plays, allow Mett more time to scan the field pre snap, and/or allow us to run out of an Offset-I formation if need be. I would also utilize more wr/rb motion. I would also make more use of a split back formation out of shotgun to get more skill guys/blockers on the field.

faster tempo? Some no huddle to start each half isn't a bad idea if the scripted plays are working.

more play action? Yes

more passes across the middle? Yes. We basically have a bunch of slot receivers (size wise) so we need to utilize that.

more out passes? only if they are quick ones

more inside/outside running? Yes.

more traps? Yes

more option? No. Quick pitch maybe

different personel? I would slide Collins out to tackle and Hurst to LG. At RT I would use either JD or Alexander.

insertion of some "trickeration"?
If only to insert some life into the offense or take advantage of an obvious mismatch. Flea flicker or hb pass maybe.

Yea definitely some more screen passes to the RBs especially middle screens. Slip out the TE from time to time. Jacobs seems to being doing well catching the ball. I'm tired of these sideways passes that we can't block the WR and goes for hardly any gain. TE usually stays in to block because we have been pretty bad at keeping pressure off Mett. Having said that, not sure why we don't put him in the gun and chunk it downfield. He is pretty accurate throwing the deep ball. We do have to give him time, but in order to get time you need to get off the deep passes to get the defense out of their 8 man front. I'm not opposed to having the backs in max protect and slip one out every now and then. I just don't see why we don't try to throw deep when we have played teams this year that we were able to block.
