We're on the same page. I was addressing Gabe.

Then go get an MBA/CPA.

An MBA right out of undergrad is, for the most part, a net negative, unless you are working in government for the rest of your life.

MBA's should be reserved for later in your working career.

I was just stating that he could do a pre-CPA program for his hours, then go for the MBA down the line if he wanted to instead of working on a MS Acct. He did say that he was just working on the MSA for the hours. Do the CPA program now, get your hours, work on MBA later.

Wanted to say that I too agree an MBA right after ungraded/previous graduate course is too early. MBAs are meant to be serious business for professionals to be better managers. The best programs bring in those individuals who manage groups and teams, not 20-something's trying to buy their way to a better salary.

Come back for the MBA once you get into a role to where you can use the MBA. This coming from someone who also did the undergrad, MAcc/CPA route. I too want an MBA, but it makes no sense for me to do so right now.
