Wait a minute----I started a thread a few weeks back about New Orleans doing this and everyone said it would not work because of hurricanes? Well, it is plausible for a hurricane to hit Houston too, right? Also, the first reply on this thread is next stop is Miami. Well if NOLA cannot do it because of hurricanes, Miami definitely cannot. Houston should be okay but there is still a threat.
New Orleans or Miami may be better to do it Week 3, instead of Week 1/Labor Day, but there are still the possibiities of storms. I think both should try it though.
This is probably my new biggest beef about college football. The reason I hate it so much is because of it's inevitability. I HATE neutral site games, but they are going to become more common because they are highly profitable. It is just going to keep going. Pretty soon, Shreveport will have one between ULM and Colorado or something on opening weekend.
What ever happened to good old fahsioned home and homes? My two biggest passions are LSU Football and traveling, so it is natural I want to combine the 2. My wife and I had so much fun in Seattle. I want to see more like that instead of this neutral site BS. Seriously, we can always go on a Saints road trip if we want to see Jerryworld or Reliant. I like college football better and want to see it played in historical type college stadiums.
If they cancel the home and home with Oklahoma in a few years for some netraul site game in Charlotte against Wake Forest or something, I will really be mad.
