A few "trophies" from Port O' Connor, TX this past weekend.
Blue runner caught on bass rod/small swim bait from a surface feeding school. We also caught some little tunny there but I dont have pics of them.
Magnificiant Frigetbird who dove into my line while casting to the school. You can see the surface boiling in the background. I'm not sure what fry they were eating but they had them balled up so tightly that the fry looked like a large grey fish. Bird was released unharmed.
7ft plus atlantic sharp nose shark my wife caught which was released boat side.
A few pics of the girls fishing/fighting that shark.
We also caught some red, lane, and dog snapper and 3 black tip sharks. I am already planning my return trip.
