I sit in the nosebleeds for Saints games and they are generally louder even way up there. Much louder IMO. The Saints fans are just as drunk, don't bring all their kids, and of course the dome keeps the noise in.
But I've never been down on the field in either so I'm only comparing the noise from the stands.

Let's go pre drew brees. 2003 when LSU was just getting into the national spotlight. tiger stadium.
