He's the winningest coach in LSU history, he has the highest winning percentage of any coach in school history, and our team went 13-1 and won an SEC Championship last year. But do I think I know the team, the players, and the game of football better than the winningest head coach in school history? Absolutely not. Did Bill Belichick cost the Patriots the 2000 season by starting Drew Bledsoe over Tom Brady?
Further, we have another dominant team this year. I'd much rather look forward to our bright future than to linger and obsess over our 1 loss last year.
