I feel as though there should be more land in the north of the east. Also, did anyone else note that GRRM mentioned at ComicCon he had to make up all these names for places in the East where the story would never go? I wonder if that settles it that Danaerys won't be passing The Shadow so to speak on her way to Westeros.

She will, but I think it will be Valyria, not Asshai.
Agree with the others, she's having her period. That's why I think Khal Jhaqo is in deep doodoo. She's hungry, she's on her period and she has a loaded dragon and isn't afraid to use it. He's about to die screaming. That would also give her back her khalasar, so she can add that to her growing army.
