Have a friend who worked the Saints training camps while in college and got offered a position after he graduated. He had to turn it down because he wasn't going to make enough money to live off. Like others said the pay is probably low starting off.

You have to have connections and preferably been an ex athlete. My brother is currently a sports agent but he started out trying to get an NBA job. All that was offered him was sales/marketing type stuff. He has been a gm in the nbdl and some smaller league, assistant coach at a few colleges and has made a bunch of connections. All I can say is good luck because it's hard to get on.
