He was special and the Colts rewarded him for his years there. The disparity between sacks of what he would get, and what our other DE would get isn't enough to justify $14 million and draft picks.
It is a typical bait situation with the Colts trying to unload someone who is supposedly their best player...he's too expensive IMO

Freeney would have to restructure his contract with any team that traded for him. I would rather have him in there, and just cut Will Smith. And Freeney would be great for Junior and Tez to learn from.
