Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo all could've had excellent story lines after cell. But we got the Dr recycled Goku shite and it annoyed me. Sometimes they'd go as far as to set it up perfectly then be like uppppp Goku needed.

Which is why it should've ended after Cell.

Good. Goku was DBZ and DBZ was Goku.

Achilles heal? DBZ is the greatest anime of all time, and quit possibly the greatest cartoon of all time. Majority of the fans were attached to Goku and they did him justice.

Then spinoff should've been created, but once again DBZ was never about those role characters. Furthermore, Gohan is the only one out of those three who could stand alone to become a main character.
