That was the norm against LSU's defense. Every team LSU played turned the ball over like that. Oregon had four turnovers too. You guys turned it over four times when we last played. Remember all of the, "Well if Tannehill hadn't had his worse game" comments you guys made? It wasn't his bad game, that's the norm against the LSU defense.

Agreed, the LSU defense makes those plays, which is why I pointed out how crucial QB decision making will be to the offense's success.

but the offense "worked"

Considering they put up more yards and points on LSU than any SEC offense, yes, I would say it worked. Their QB forcing a couple of throws and some fumblitis prevented more points from being scored (also credit to the defense), but what if they had a defense as good as simply Miss St who held you to 19?

Is that offense going to hang 30+ on a typical LSU defense? No, but it can move the ball and give the team a chance to win as long as there is solid defense to accompany it. Of course, this isn't really about LSU, I just used that game as an example. The only point I was trying to make is that if that type of offense can move the ball and score against the LSU defense, than it should fare well against the non-elite defenses of the SEC as long as you have solid QB play and a good offensive line.

Then they would have played in the NC and not us. As it stands the two best programs in the country and league are now in your division and we play tough defense and run the ball effectively. You can win by running different offenses but throwing the ball 65 times and running for a total of 70 yards won't win you the conference in the SEC.
