Im sure it is a mixed bag. I did find it rather interesting that the pitch count going into the 7th inning last night was:
LSU 137
SB 87

LSU definitely has a different hitting philosophy.

Yea, whether its philosophy or talent or technique, Ive never seen a team extend at-bats like SB did this weekend. Not just one guy, all those guys stayed in there for long at-bats. You just cant finish em off.

When you get outhit 11-1 you are going to be sending a lot less people to the plate, and that is a big part of the difference..
