You knew Eades would give up runs but why do you think

CPM waited until they were down 4 to make a move? I seem to remember CPM sticking with Eades way too long in other games this year. Almost reminds me of the CLM-JJ relationship.

Because there were 4 straight 2 out hits. We were one pitch away from being out of that inning with no runs in.

The rest of the year might be a different story, but the hook was about right tonight, in my opinion. You want your starter to hang on as long as possible, but he was just going straight down. Now bullpen the rest of the way through.

He should have come out after 2 runs were scored. It was pretty obvious he was getting hit very hard. He wasn't fooling many people.
