But seriously I would try dooshays sauce piquant or some pack mule gravy. Maybe wrap some in Bacon and bell pepper on the Grill. And next time don't soak the doe with the Buck

I've had a hand full like this over the years. You usually tell it before you even eat it. I've been giving away the big ones I kill the past few years.

yep. you can't get rid of the game taste, but you can infuse it with other flavors by cooking it down in a gravy, stuffing with peppers, etc.
If it's musk and shite you might be screwed but as far as gamey, the stuff I ate growing up was gamey as frick and I'm used to it and kind of enjoy it.
They were run by dogs and I always heard the build up of lactic acid or whatever when they were killed made em gamey.
