I'm trying to figure out how I want it to handle savings so that it shows savings as an "exspense" in the monthly budget.
I guess all I need to do is create a "savings" catagory and then tag the transactions as such? any other ideas?
i dont understand why you are trying to show it as an expense

Because if it lists as a transfer from one account to the other, it still shows as available money.
For monthly budgeting, I want savings to be a fixed cost.
I played with the Goals some last night, it might do what I want but not sure yet. I'll keep playing with it.
