Does anyone know what's been going on with him lately? Is LSU still in the hunt for him or is he a gone pecan to OU?

I don't know but most seem to have relegated him to OU.

We are pretty well set at DT. Have Lawson, likely have Gilmore already, lead for Pagano, etc.
Manning is/has been OU's to lose

Manning's older brother played at OU. The OU assistant who recruited and coached his brother at OU is the one recruiting Manning now. He has visited OU with his older brother in tow.
There are glimmers of good news. He made a point of saying that he liked LSU and wanted to visit, and he ultimately did so. He also said that he liked his visit at LSU very much. Moreover, whenever he has talked about OU, he has done so in a cool and distant manner...and always adds that he wants to look around.
That being said, OU has always been considered the leader and I think that still holds true today.
But unexpected things happen all the time.

However, his brother's career at OU left a bit to be desired. I feel that gives LSU a fighting chance. Versus if his brother had been an All American at OU and drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. Sort of like Patrick Peterson.

I like Manning, no doubt. I think Pagano's film is more impressive though. Either way, we are going to be in good shape. Lawson really impresses me too. I think he's going to be special
