Washington DC bars

Me and the wife are in DC right now "Capital Hill area," and we are wondering if anybody could point us to a good fun bar here in DC.

Heard trusty's full serve bar was neat but I've never been
18th amendment is the LSU bar on Penn ave SE but I don't know if it would be considered fun outside of gamedays
Popular bar areas are Dupont, Adams Morgan, Georgetown, H street NE, U street
