TCU boards keep saying that Trent wasn't a "good fit" at LSU and will be a "good fit" at TCU.

I think it means TCU has lower expectations than LSU. Trent will be a good fit at TCU because they are ok with mediocrity, at least for now.

I think otherwise, it is a bullshite concept. Coaching is the same everywhere you go. And LSU should be an easier place to succeed than TCU.

maybe. maybe not.

consider this: for 2011-2012 there were no Louisiana high school players in the rivals top 100. There are lots of Texas schoolboy players who are top 100 every year. So... TCU might get a couple of good Christian boys who are also 4 star basketball players. They are out there to be gotten, anyway.

Trent has already learned to deal with recruiting for a private school with higher academic standards than TCU. His one great season at Stanford was 28 wins, and it was his last year there before he went to LSU. It was his 4th season, giving LSU the impression that once he got 'his guys' he could field a winning team.
