We usually put in at jugs and run bayou dularge to caillou and south through grand bayou dularge. But yes, coming from bayou decade you would need to go that way. Just make sure u have a big enough boat and watch the weather

Yeah I've been out there once on a 32' SeaVee...but we have a 22' Blue Wave. I know many people that go out there in 22' boats, but definitely only calm days...I'm not that brave
