the NFL is like any other business that winks and turns their head about the dirty little secrets...when you have linebackers the size of Anthony Munoz in his prime running at speeds posted by Jerry Rice in his prime (aka Shawn Merriman)you obviously know something has changed. Even in the 70's the Steelers were widely known for their steroid usage but the NFL turned a blind eye cause people wanna see huge men running at super speeds at each other and causing monstrous collisions. Look how many baseball, BASEBALL, players have been busted for juicing and most of them are no where NEAR the size of these pro football players. I'm sure the NFL is like everything else...they bust who they WANNA bust as to give the sport some legitimacy when it comes to drug testing. Not taking away from the impressiveness of Laron's physique but an athlete who engages in weight training NATURALLY gains the majority of his muscular size (post puberty) within the first 24 months of training and growth slows tremendously after that. Laron has been immersed in weight training all the years in high school plus college years plus the pros and he STILL continues to put slabs of pure muscle mass on as a mature weight trained athlete. Not saying it's impossible BUT....kinda makes ya wonder

you never hear about an NFL having to sit out games or suspended for steriod use. There is no way it goes on in baseball and not in football. It's being sweeped under the rug at an alarming rate.
