I understand that Paul Maneiri has an aggressive approach to base-running and I am okay with that. However, it doesn't change the fact that Javi is just plain bad at deciding when to send a runner home. It's true that there's a fine line between aggressive base running and poor base running, but Javi is horrible at determining where that line is.
To try and be fair, I will say that Paul Maineiri is in a similar situation when it comes to determining when to pull a pitcher. It's easy to say he should have pulled/not pulled a player after the fact, but he seems to wait too long to pull a pitcher. For the record, I'm a fan of Paul Maineiri.
