Heard a caller on WWL last week suggest adding Randy Livingston to the staff to help with nola recruiting. I know he's the head coach of a d league team, but is adding Livingston to the staff something realistic or would he appear as a threat to Trent Johnson?

Here is an article on Livingston from last summer.

but he would be willing to coach or to be an assistant at LSU if the opportunity arose.

Livingston has interviewed with LSU at least twice, with both Brady and Trent Johnson. It seems that the issue both times was that he was not finished with his degree.

I know he has it now, althought it is from University of Phoenix if that even counts.

I like Randy and think he would do great, but I don't know that. I think it's a gamble. He's never coached in college and he's never recruited before.

I want him to get into college, because I would love for him to be the head coach one day down the road.
