I didn't watch the game yesterday so for those of you who did, how did Peterson, Blackwell, and B Taylor do?

I saw in some other threads that Taylor got a pick.

That should be huge, considering he has already sold scouts on his ability to stop the run, and tackle with power.

But, overall, how did I guys represent in the game? Did their performances do anything to move them up/down on scouts lists?

Another site praised B.Taylor for his D play. Got one interception too.

Taylor was the only one that looked good if I can recall. Peterson only had 2 catches and seemed non-existent and Blackwell got beat a good bit.

Taylor definitely helped himself and was strong throughout the practices

Taylor got a pick. Looked good the whole game, of course the QBs for both teams were awful.

Blackwell did well early but faded late. Got beat pretty badly on a couple plays.

D-Lo managed his normal output.

Glad to hear that BT is continuing to up his stock.

Too bad Blackwell and DeAngelo couldn't do the same.

Kind of ironic that the one guy who kept his mouth shut the entire week and continued to work hard and stay focused ended up improving his stock.

Anybody know if Blackwell or D Peterson got invites to the combine? Hopefully so. Maybe they can improve the stock there.

B.Taylor is definitely a gamer. Should have a long, productive career.

Not true.

LSU All-American offensive guard Will Blackwell is a mauling blocker and showed a lot of pop at the point of attack on pulling plays

The Scout guys put Blackwell in their "Winners" list from the game.

NFLDraftCountdown was killing Blackwell FWIW. Said he didn't belong on the same field as the other players. Also said his issues during the week extended into the game. Seems like everybody sees something different so who knows.

And ESPN had DP listed as Stock Down from the practices:
quote:

Peterson's lack of size (6-2?, 230) showed up when he was run over during a blocking drill, and he does not separate from coverage as well as you would like from a player his size. He's too mechanical in his cuts and does not show great burst. It's easy to blame his lack of production on the run-heavy scheme he played in at LSU, but Peterson has not delivered on his chance to prove that was the case. His ball skills are inconsistent and his blocking is an issue, and Peterson's stock is taking a hit. -- Steve Muench

Your link is to comments about Wednesday's practice. The link I posted was Scout's reports of the game.

Yes, but the article you linked with appeared earlier in the week and referred to practice. Could be that he was more impressive during the game. I guess we'll all find out what the scouts really think in April.

Maybe Blackwell didn't perform because he was upset Miles never returned his call.

DP still playing soft, but wants to complain about our offense?

Blackwells stock is down the most but I assume he will still get drafted Peterson is about the same as the QB was really not very good so cant tell much he is 3rd 4th round at best and Taylor may be up just slightly.

in fairness to Peterson, the QBs sucked. Smelley from Bama only had 1 catch, and no other TEs had any for the South team. That Arizona QB looked for his WR team mate every play once he got in the game as well.
