I think a lot of people here have lost complete perspective of what happened.... and to be honest, the vocal nature and public display via internet/twitter/message boards does nothing but harm to the image of the program.

There is as much ridicule going on the national boards, and media. It isn't just LSU fans.

Dude, everyone else in the media is ridiculing us fans for being so ridiculously hard on our coach and team...we look like spoiled little children worthy of ridicule. Bobby Hebert didn't help either. Yes, people are questioning miles's decisions but that's not the story anymore.

I know he lost me
No way I go down without throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them. Miles is dead to me as a leader or representative of LSU. I dont give up and I won't support someone who does.
LSU is bigger than Miles and it will
Recover in time.'OU and OSU and others have taken their lumps but I never thought I'd see the day when a head coach just didn't even try to win. I'm still in shock and will be so the rest of my life. This is like a death. You don't forget it. but time will slowly ease the pain. Is it only a game? No, it wS the national championship. It wasn't just a game.

Miles got the credit for 13-0 and now gets the blame for the worst BCS game, read any BCS game, not just BCSNC, in history.

He deserves all the blame for that pile of shite on the field Monday, but that is Miles' M.O. yearly!

"At the moment, all that goodwill is gone. It's hard to believe that this one loss would ever wind up in Miles losing his job at LSU, but, to be fair, crazier things have happened in the football-crazed world of the SEC.

Even if Miles isn't in danger of losing his job now, should things go wrong in 2012, when his team will once again be expected to play for a national title, the idea of his dismissal will start to pick up steam.

All it took for this dramatic turnaround was one game, one terrible game in the eyes of the Bayou Bengals. Sometimes that's all it takes.

It'll take much longer to bring it back"

This is how the article concluded....maybe you need some reading comprehension lessons.
