I agree in theory. However, no one will ever convince me that if Bama had won the first game that we wouldn't have looked like the team on the mission last night.

Who knows what would've happened, but I know what I watched wouldn't have happened.

As great of a motivator as Saban is, he must have an attentive audience, and if they had won the first game, and the exact same set of circumstances had unfolded, they would have been at least moderately complacent.

Everyone of them talked about how much that first loss hurt, how they weren't going to let that happen again. That's exactly how they played.

I'd be interested to see if we were the team in that position.
