Ever ? It happened 12 hrs ago, but whatever. Apparently you weren't watching the body language.
Mom doesn't like the girlfriend. Girlfriend was rubbing it mom's face. Kid wants out of the awkward situation. Staying close to home would allow the situation to continue so he goes Bama.
Don't get me wrong, if the kid wants to be a Gump let him. It's his decision to make. I hope he does well except one game a season.
