Actually, you are wrong about this...while saying "nine 'til 6" is a somewhat accepted way of saying it, "9 to 6" is actually what they teach in second grade. Here's a little assistance for you non-English speakers:
Basic English: How to tell time.

C'mon...it's one thing to call the joke dumb, but to insist that it is dumb because it's premiss is an incorrect pronunciation... ...Do your homework and make sure it's actually wrong. "9 'til 6" is the far more illiterate way of saying it. Scroll down a little on the link and you'll see that "nine to six" is a "traditional form," and "nine 'til six" is the bastardization that doesn't even make it into textbooks.
