True. We got Corley, Jamarcus, Phelon. Then Saban took over.
I know the team is called "Alabama" but so much of their team comes from Mobile it's astounding: Barron, Julio (right across the bay), Fluker, McCarron, Lester, Fowler, Jarrick Williams.
They get who they want from Mobile. Even Auburn can't get in there. Saban built a damn good fence around that city.

Even though Bama owns Mobile, we have tightened up the wall even better in NOLA. We OWN NOLA.
For football talent: NOLA >>>>>>> Mobile already. Now after Katrina rebuilding is done we're gonna see NOLA become even more of a talent hotbed.
Leonard Fournette is much better. LA RBs literally grow on trees. We can't even take all of the good ones in state. LA produces the best DL, RB/ATH/WR, and DBs in the country, bar none. We just grow QBs and LBs worth a shite most years.
