After rewatching the game about 7 times since November 5th i've formed my own opinions as to what the Bama d will do to try and stop LSUs offense...

my personal thoughts are that bama may try to spread their dline out more and use the linebackers towards the flats just a little more.
with us using the option and getting success with Jefferson out of the strong I form I think they will allow us to use those inside yards for some time ...also i think Bama may do a little more blitzing and force Jefferson to make some quick decisions to force a mistake. With that being said i really do believe it will benifit the Tigers and open up some big plays downfield because we will see alot of press coverage and one on one opportunities.

Ware will get some good yards statisticallythis game. He has been fairly quiet and i think thats because of the wear and tear from the beginning of the season..the month break will give him alot of time to recoperate.

i look forward to LSU being able to get the inside yardage with KH and Ware.
once we get that i think it will def allow Jordan to add some space in the deep post/cross routes routes with Randle and Beckham making some big plays.

I hope we spread them out and ram up the middle with Hilliard.

Not a good combination. Granted, he has done better in the option this year, passing, not so much.

I def think Bama will prepare for JJ outright.

you know as well as i know, the way to stop JL is to blitz him straight on and force him to make a throw under quick pressure. and i say that with respect, not to down JL.without LEE wouldnt had made it this far.

with all due respect, they can do that but still wont be enough to win.
i honestly think bama is a great team, but once you shut down Trent its a no show for your offense.

Contrary to what most people think, LSU was able to move the ball on Bama. Was it as explosive as it was in other games, NO. But Bama wasn't this "un-movable object" that everyone made them out to be.

Bama actually played pretty conservatively and vanilla on defense b/c of the big play ability of LSU. Granted, LSU is no juggernaut of an offense, but one can't deny our ability to score quickly with big plays. Bama fans will deny this until their death. But suprisingly, Saban and Kirby Smart never really played alot of man-to-man coverage much in that game.

If Saban wants to win this game, he is going to have to allow his defense to

1. Take more chances
2. Blitz more
3. Spread his defense out

If he can't do those things and do them successfully, Bama will lose.

stop option, practice field goals, and don't punt the ball to the Honey Badger.

Is it just me or do you guys/girls also think Bama fans tend to avoid rewatching the replay of the game ???

LSU fans always seem to rewatch the games and point out good things and also the bad regardless of a win or lose.
Bama, to me, seem to not wanna actually talk about the mistakes that their team made on the 5th and rather live off the field goal excuse alone. If they were to rewatch it then they would have a better understanding of how LSU actually won rather then how they just lost..

practice field goals

haha you can practice field goals alllllll day long, wont help add distance to your kicks in a matter of weeks if your legs outright not strong enough to make a kick that pros can barely reach...

you can teach muscle memory to help with accuracy but i doubt you can help teach 15yards additional power in a few weeks .lol

They will punt away from Tyrann, or even out-of-bounds. Should we line him up centered or have Mo pitch it over to him in a sweep?

None. LSU is averaging 35+ points a game. Holding them to 9 should generally be enough to win the game. Why change anything?

I will say now, that if Alabama spends the majority of their preparation trying to prepare for stopping the outside run/option game, they will pay for it.
