Unlike the Gasol trade, the Hornets and Dell wanted and need current high-level ballers to generate buzz by competing for wins, not draft picks to be developed slowly..
Gilbert makes great points in the grand scheme of the health for the overall league and going forward..
But, by NOH's current needs, Paul's expiring, no current local ownership, and NBA attendance mandates in regards to Nawlins when the Saints and LSU Football having this state's full attention, this was gonna be a good deal for all involved.
