Watched Uncle Ted put an arrow in a bear who had halve of his body inside of a dumped over trash can of food. Now that's what I call sporting, kinda like most deer hunters. Boom. Feeding animals you kill should be illegal unless its an agricultural setting. How many deer hunters wouldn't hunt if they had to actual stalk for their kill.

Before I respond, I have killed a grand total of 1 deer over bait, it's not really effective for killing mature bucks so I choose not to hunt that way.

What is the difference in killing a deer over a corn or bean field in an agricultural area, killing a deer over a food plot, killing a deer under an oak tree or persimmon tree, and killing a deer over a corn pile? In every instance the deer are coming to eat. In every instance you have to play the wind, use caution when you raise your gun or draw your bow, and make a good shot. What's the difference in using scents and calls for that matter? Every hunter tries to create an advantage, whether it's scent eliminating spray, scent lok type clothing, grunt calls, rattling bags or antlers, trail cameras, compound bows, mechanical broadheads, scopes on high powered rifles, and on and on. Unless a person is crafting their own bow, carving there own wooden arrows, and wearing clothing crafted from animal hide, then they are gaining an advantage over the purest form of hunting.
