Playoff scenarios this year

Even thoug I agree with a playoff, this may be the worst year to argue for one. If there were an 8 team playoff this year, LSU would likely have to play a team they beat in the regular season in each round.
If you take the six BCS champions and two at large teams, then seed them by committee similar to the NCAA basketball tourney, LSU would have to beatg WVU in round one, Orgeon in round two, and Alabama in the final game. (assuming LSU is 1st seed, Alabama 2, OSU 3, Wisconsin 4, Oregon 5, Stanford 6, Clemson 7, and WVU 8).
If you seed the 6 BCS champions first and then make the "wildcard" teams 7 and 8, like an NFL format, LSU would likely face Stanford in round one, but then Oregon in round two and Alabama in the final game.
What are the odds of this scenario ever happening again? What a season for LSU!
