Kool-aid drinking Bama fans want to argue that Bama was really the better team (even though they lost). Kool-aid drinking LSU fans want to believe that there is a 2 TD difference when playing at home vs. playing away when its typically closer to 3 points.

Those two points are nothing alike. One of them is just LSU bravado. I knew many a Bama fan IRL that told me they were going to steamroll LSU in Tuscaloosa. One guy bet me 100 bucks and even though I've kidded around with him asking me for my money, he hasn't paid me yet. You get a few bones broken by a bookie if you do that, but anyway...back to the point.

The other point is Bama denial even though the facts are right there in their face that they lost, fair and square. It isn't like LSU beat them on a tipped hail mary pass in the final seconds. They flat out lost the game. LSU defense shut down Bama in the 2nd half and put enough points up on the board to bring it to OT. I'm still pissed the score wasn't 14-6 in regulation, because all Shep has to do is walk into the end zone instead of falling down, and if Ware runs left instead of up the gut he strolls into the endzone too.
