with JL we would have a loss already.
You don't read very well, because you TOTALLY missed this part of my post:

I believe he should play, especially in situations where he's needed to just keep things stable (aka the Alabama game), but letting him run our offense full time is a loss waiting to happen.

Lee didn't bring us anywhere. The TEAM brought themselves to 10-0 , ably managed by the head coach.
Stop trying to dig deeper meaning out of words. When I said Lee "brought" us to 10-0, I meant he was the QB at the time, and the QB is one of the leaders of the team.
Of course it's a team effort, it's sports. You're not making some profound statement by saying that.
And let's also note that to give your team the best shot at winning, all parts of the team need to be hitting on all cylinders. And what QB helps us do that is what this discussion is about.

I'll say this. Anyone who can convince himself that we would've won the bama game with Lee at qb is completely delusional and I won't waste time arguing with them. Accordingly, anyone who believes that the bama game was simply an anomaly and that arky, ga and whoever we face in no won't see that JL still throws picks under pressure is just kidding themselves. Old habits die hard. Les even touched on it briefly in his presser when he said that wku did some things different that we thought we had worked out and that's why he kept JJ in the game. He was talking about our protections. I don't think any of our coaches expected wku to blitz as much as they did. Unfortunately for JL, the bama game is on film now and every team will attack him like never before because the reward is too great, stats notwithstanding. BUT, I saw at least one encouraging moment occur in the game when a free blitzer came strongside and Lee actually pulled the ball down, ducked under him and ran. Don't know if anybody else caught that.

There is no deeper meaning - Lee is ONE of the players on the team and one amongst those who can/will provide leadership.

The statement was true - everyone makes it out like Lee was solely responsible for this and we would have crumbled without him - I merely pointed out that there are multiple others who provided equal if not better results at their respective positions and the entire result is thanks to Les.

Certainly we need to have the best possible team to help win games - the question is why would you think or assume that the rantards know more about team chemistry, game planning, player weaknesses and strengths more than Les Miles?
Anyone can have favorite players/positions or plays and can debate that - certainly it is their prerogative. The issue is what gives you the qualification to question Les' decisions.
1. He ensured that despite all distractions the team is still winning comfortably.
2. He certainly knows what is required of the QBs in each game
3. He knows the skill sets of both QBs and sees them at practice and talks to them ( I am sure on a daily basis).
Why the angst when someone points out that your(not specifically you but all rantards) arguments don't hold water?
