I agree with all of that. I think most people just feel LSU, despite our wins, our ranking, and everything that goes along with that, continues to be slighted nationally. It's not that LSU was better, it's that another team outplayed us but just couldn't make multiple 50+ yard field goals. Or, well if James isn't hurt and they don't have to play that true frosh, etc. It's a fricking joke at this point, so we react negatively when we hear a player on your team say something to the effect.
Well, I think some of it's deserved. Bama missed like 4 field goals and you won by 3. There is going to be a lot of "woulda, coulda, shoulda" argument. It definitely wasn't a convincing win against BAMA.
I really don't think any other game is in that category. Besides, every NC winner has need a little luck here or there.

"Convincing"? haha, this is great. 1 vs. 2, everyone in the world picks 2 at home, and we now have to win "convincingly." haha, yeah the best team in a conference that has owned the last five NC's has to beat the perceived best team in the country on the road convincingly now.
Did you know, Cade Foster had made one field goal all year coming into the LSU game? It was from 45 yards. So missing multiple kicks of 50 plus isn't blowing the game.
Someone link this poster the stats of the NFL kickers this year, their efficiency from 50 plus and the number of teams that haven't even made a single field goal from beyond 50. And that's with the hash marks basically not being a factor. You're fricking brilliant bison.

Bama missed 3 45+ yd field goals, and had 1 blocked. It's not like any of them were gimmies. They only penetrated the LSU red zone once in the entire game.
And if you want to play that game, LSU had the ball on the 1 right before the half, and were very close to punching one in. In addition, had Mike Ford not stepped out of bounds for no reason in OT, LSU wins 13-6 and no one is talking about a "3 pt win".
Secondly, I sure as frick hope you're not claiming that the UO wasn't convincing. Forget the turnovers...James rushed for 54 yards.

Why is it "luck" is LSU wins by 3 in Tuscaloosa, but "earned" if Bama wins.
frick this noise. You people are idiots.

You know what convinces me of a win? Scoring more points than the team we are playing.
