Did the Indian guy rape her. If not, why in the world did she make that up? It just made no sense.
I have always wondered if I missed some subtle context as a kid. I just couldn't understand why the movie went in that direction out of the blue.
I think my dad took me to see it. He hated it too. I think he liked Lawrence of Arabia so he was hoping for something in that style.
