Do you have trusted first hand knowledge of the situation or do you just believe everything you hear/read from an Aggie perspective?
That quote was from the University President during an interview. What is your definition of first hand knowledge?
Texas unilaterally set up the deal with the PAC-10, and then the PAC-10 came in with the other Universities in the back end to convince them to join. It's not like Texas kept the other Big 12 South schools involved in the discussion.
If Missouri had been the only school that had left for the Big 10, that would not have destabilized the Big 12 in anyway, Texas was the first one to really throw distrust into the picture with their PAC-10 craziness last year.
PAC-10 invited CU individually so Baylor could not be forced into the picture, which was a great move by the PAC-10 and a great move by CU.
Every school that has left the Big 12 has pointed Austin's way for the current disparity and lack of stability. Either they are all right or you are just trying to defend your University. (I don't blame you, it's your school I don't expect different.) The only people in the Big 12 who are going to say that Texas had nothing to do with the situation besides Texas fans are Baylor fans, and that's only because they need the t-sips in the worst way.
