I'm confused when we want a night game at home it doesn't work but bama does they get it?

The simplest explanation is that the S.E.C./C.B.S. don't take Alleva/LSUAD very seriously, that they come across as meek/cowardly and will not stand up/put up a fight and demand what the majority of the fan base desires.
The Gump athletic administration stands up for their schools interests and LSU's doesn't. That's why Bama usually gets what they want and why the premier nighttime venue in the country is left without a single S.E.C. game under the stars.
That's Occham's Razor shoved in the collective faces of L.S.U. fans/alumni to the max.
