Conference alignment according to academic standards

Who the hell do they think they are fooling. LSU now is going to be what 25 ACT? Tulane?
Texas wants the PAC 12 for academics? Joe Mcknight was one match short of Radio. Isn't it true that some of the Pac 12 teams admit students based on GPA. Even schools with high entrance standards have exceptions. I believe UCF is a school that gets around entrance standards with exceptions.
I know Tulane did this in the 70's. A player I knew could barely read and write and played there.
AM I missing something here?

they are hypocrites. It makes them feel better and it gives them a comeback when their buddies bitch at them about athletics at the faculty club.

It's not about academics, it's about who you want hang with at the country club. Many of the Universty Presidents resent the he'll out of all the money Cosches are making and now the want their share.

It's kind of a crock since virtually all schools offer academic waivers to athletes.
