Interesting discussion by some on how the ACC is adding tv coverage

Listening to the radio this morning, they were talking about how the ACC thinks that by adding Syracuse and Pitt that they are adding NY and Pittsburgh for TV and revenue purposes however their argument against this was that cities like NY, Boston, DC and Miami have populations that truly are more interested in professional teams. I tend to agree with this and think the ACC may have misjudged what they are really getting. They also added that the small towns of the SEC (Oxford, Baton Rouge, Fayetteville, etc) don't bring these big TV markets however what they do have is tremendous passion for the teams that they support and in doing so you have stadiums that carry huge numbers of fans and carry the markets of Florida, Georgia, etc.
