My .02 on the game....

Offense

Pros:

-Drew Brees is hands down the master of hurry up.
-Henderson did a great job
-Graham is a beast, glad he is our starter
-Ingram did great, regardless as a rookie, great
-Sproles is still a monster threat, great job
-We will only get better on the O-Line and our offense will destroy defenses this year.

Cons: (First game, film and practice should fix)

-Pick up the blitz better (protect Brees RB's)
-O-Line open the holes for the run game
-More play action

Defense:

Pros:

-Greer did great (Nice form)
-Nice blitz packages Gregg
-Minimal penalties

Cons:

-Pat Robinson got worked, but he was lined up with the best receiver in the game
-Arm Tackles/Missed tackles
-To much cushion off the line for CB's
-I would have rather got be by man coverage, then give so much cushion on cover D. (Rodgers ate us up)
-Blown coverage by LB's
-Mismatch on Finley
-No pickups on screens
-Missing key players

Special Teams:

Pros:

-Kasay was on it, little shaky, but made the FG's
-Sproles is a beast, nice return

Cons:

-Coverage on KO's, stay in your lane, finish tackles
-Garret Hartley out

Overall Assessment:

We looked good in some areas, bad in others. But, it is the first game of the season against a great team. We can build off of this loss and move forward. It was an away game and we were down by 14 and fought back. We are missing key individuals on Defense and it showed. We will bounce back and make the playoffs.

Good job Saints, shake it off and get ready for Chicago!
