I never paid attention that they've never played home night games before. It seems wierd that a big time program like Michigan has just now installed lights. I wonder what the night game environment will be like.

I couldn't tell you, but I wouldn't expect a Tiger Stadium like atmosphere. I have a friend whose family went to Michigan, said despite being the Big House, it's not exactly a threatening place to play.

I would do unspeakable things to attend this historical event.

Enjoy it.

I grew up in Michigan and need to go experience a big time night game in the Big House someday. That sounds like a blast. I would go in LSU gear though

I was saying this exact thing to some people the other day. Its going to be crazy no doubt, but Michigan crowds don't get overly rowdy. Its intimidating because it is so much people, but if the crowd was like ones you see at Death Valley or the Swamp then it would be just insanity.

Humble, you sitting in the student section? Also, I'm hosting a tailgate on the UM golf course if you care to get some Louisiana food in ya.

I lived in Michigan for a while in the early 70s. I recall several sports articles in the Detroit paper something along the lines that they would never play night games at home - only a few small southern colleges play Saturday night games.

(A few other articles such as - the Big10 will never participate in some of the minor bowls, like the Sugar Bowl, Orange, etc - the only bowl game worth playing in is the Rose!)

Not exactly sure where I'm sitting, or tailgating, or when I am tailgating because my friend just told me a week ago he had an extra ticket so the plans are all with him. All I know is that it will be amazing. Win or lose, I know this game will always stick out in my memory.

Hopefully we still have their number just like past years

Go Blue!

Wish I could make it to this game, but Bama-PSU is the priority.

I think they will too. Obviously Notre Dame is a good team despite losing, and Michigan is pretty good too, but the past two years I doubted if we would beat Notre Dame and we some how end up pulling it off. I am hoping for the same this week.

And you must go to the Big House. The new additions make it much better and has a pretty good aesthetic appeal from outside the stadium now. Make sure you pick a good game though, don't waste it. My first game was three years ago when we lost to Toledo
