Blount did sit for most of the season. He really didn't get a carry until right before the civil war. Blount got a sufficient suspension and CK's suspension for the entire year was overkill and was rightully retracted since Chip was a 1st year head coach.

I think the vast majority of Oregon fans are saying we should wait and see until everyone gets a chance to tell their story. The media and interwebs want to rush to judgement on these things before the whole story comes out.

I think so, but Chip did what he felt he had to do. Blount performed his "act" on the big screen. I don't think it was just the punch, but his reaction following it.
I don't blame Chip for doing what he did. PR is a bitch.
