My thoughts:

Suarez really needs to grow up. I've defended him to this point, but his bitchiness today tells me a little about his character. Hopefully this saga is behind us now.

Why Stewart Downing? Why should he ever be in the lineup? He's completely invisible, and a possession destroyer. Get rid of him this summer, please!!

Just not enough quality in the middle of the field. We need Lucas badly. Without Gerrard free to move up in attack we have no chance. Downing, Adam, and Henderson sure as frick aren't going to get it done. Maybe Maxi can??? He has in the past.

LSUSOBEAST1's dislike for Kuyt was justified today.

Enrique, while I like his bulldoggishness, looked shaky as hell trying to fend off Valencia. I'll expect better from him in the coming weeks.

Liverpool was outpassed and outclassed in every way in the second half by a much better side who was in great form. The scoreboard was not at all indicative of how lopsided this one was.

Bring on Brighton.

Eta: and Patrice Evra can go frick himself. He's not the bastion of peace and anti-racism he's being made out to be right now.
